The Hellenic Naval Amateur Radio Club (HNARC) was formed in October 2021 by a small but dedicated group of Greek amateur radio operators who have served or are currently serving in the Greek Navy, Merchant Marine, Coast Guard and Coastal Radio Stations. The aim of the club is to promote activity and friendship in the amateur radio community, especially amongst those with a seafaring background, to participate in international events organized by other maritime amateur radio clubs around the world and to uphold the high standards of operating gained from a career in the above services.
Membership is open to all licensed amateur radio operators who are serving or have served in the Navy, Merchant Marine, Coast Guard or Maritime Coastal Radio Stations.
